If there is a game you wish to have on GOG.com and it’s not yet on the wishlist, please add your wish
There's an open source engine for this game: REminescence cyxdown.free.fr/reminiscence
I'll vote for that as well as well as Another World.
This one was a surprise to me that it wasn't already here. Especially with the recent ramake
Please add this game. It is of vast importance to me!
Remake 2013 looks like piece of big shit. "Developers" piece of shit also. Urgently need cut off them hands.
If I should name the videogame that was my youth, Flashback is definitely to be considered. It still gives my shivers and takes me back. Make this happen! (please?)
Oh GOG, if you add this... IF YOU ADD THIS......
I'd LOVE to see the remake on GOG. Comes with the original version and everything.
When I think of the best 2d action adventure games I think of Flashback and Out of this world(Another world). Please, add this to your catalog.
I would love to purchase and play this game! But please be sure to release both the floppy and the CD version together, so that we have the choice of which one to play.
Please GOG, take my money!
Please add this! Thank you!
The Version on www.Gamesfabrique.com works fine but comes with some sort of shitty toolbar, that will change your standard search engine and the like -you know the drill- but can be avoided by declining the EULA. The game itself is free;no EULA, as stated by many other here. Nonetheless it would be nice if GOG could get it and sell it here. I would blithely pay 3-5$ for it, if it comes with some -even minor- extras. That game is a part of my childhood!
CaptainAppleMan, what was the problem with the "enhanced" CD version? I only ever played the floppy version, which was a ton-o-fun.
Great game! I would buy a version working for any Win...
Given that gamefabrique.com also appears to have a download page for Super Mario World - not noted for its plausible freeware status - I'm not sure what the evidence is for Flashback's being freeware. http://www.megidish.net/flashback/ regards it as abandonware.
Flashback is FREEWARE, and can be downloaded for PC (windows XP/Vista/7 and probably win 8 too) here: http://www.gamefabrique.com/download/flashback/It'll be great if GOG would add it to the other free games here.
Come on GOG.com man up and get this out, cant find a stable version of it anywhere
Had some good times back in the heyday playing this fun and thrilling game. Would be awesome to get it here on GOG
If they add this, it better be the floppy version. I'll be pissed off if it's the god-damn 'enhanced' CD version.
The reason I'm a devoted puzzle platform phreak. Please find this!
a true classic
One of the greatest games ever.
Yeah! We want this game!
Yes please! It's one of my favorite games of all time!
They need to bring Flashback & Fade to Black to GOG
It's dripping down my leg.
)@*#$&(*&!@$*(&!@$!!!!!!! I completely forgot about this game! Also, if there could be support for a controller interface so I could pretend like it was my SNES again I'd buy it for a friend too.
I second this a hundred times over. Also, the comic book that came with the US console versions would make great bonus content.
This game would be a great addition to this site. But like AmanoJyaku said, only when it is the DOS floppydisk version, not the CD version.
Please GOG admins: merge the votes of the 3 distinct Flashback entries: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=flashback
It would be great if the DOS floppy version (the cd cutscenes are terrible) of this game would be released along with the amiga soundtrack in mod format. Using the DOS game files plus the Amiga music files the best version of this game could be enjoyed using the sdl port "Reminiscence".
And of course I demand full language set (at least for the text), because I played in German and the game is from a French studio.
I played Flashback in the last 15 years at least five times, beginning with difficulty level easy, medium, then hard. Especially level 2 was nice because you have some kind of adventure mode with in-game missions, and the story goes deeper. Lovely game. But the slimy monsters in the last two (three) levels were quite difficult.
Would be nice to have a legal full talkie version. :)
I bet there'll be many potential buyers when this baby hits GOG. Please bring it on board! Day 1 purchase for me atleast.
One of my all time favorite games. I'm still undecided what I like more is Another world or this :)
I have the enhanced CDrom version of this game, it works but without sound as there is some issue with the soundcard detection with this game (DosBox 0.74).
