Arasaka How is it that you have dungeon crawler clones available like Eye of the Beholder but not the progenitor? Shameful really. If there's a truly Good Old Game, it's this one, and it still remains in my mind after 30 years unlike so many other games I've played and forgotten in the 80s and 90s.

neosapian back when GOG lived up to it's name "good ole games" I bought the entire Ultima Series. They started out with games like that! I wonder why this wasn't one of them. The only game I want as much as Ultima is not released and it's 2022! anyone who enjoys classics HAS TO like this game! and series of games!

daonos I still hear the "Endless Rain" music in my mind sometimes when it rains. "Dungeon Master 2: Skullkeep" at least, should be archived on the hard drives of many people. Not just pirates and disk collectors.

a proper remaster this would be great as well the legend of grimrock version and the dungeon master hd is good

reteo Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't that game have some hardcore DRM woven into it? I would imagine it would be a challenge and a half to remove the DRM without rendering the game unplayable.
Still if it can be done, that would be nice.

seasicksailor I tried to find out what happened to FTL in the late 90s when they dissolved but there is scant little information online. Given that they had a close partnership with Victor Interactive of Japan the last few years of existence, it is a fair guess to say that the IP is now owned by Marvelous Inc. Pure guesswork though. :)
neosapian they release a lot of "retro" trash but no classics! I think this game and Dungeon Master II should release! I also think this was the reason I started gaming in the first place! My brother and I played this and got a whole upgrade for our Apple IIGS just to play it!

Geraldine Would love to see a complete collection of the DM games. DM2 with the Amiga soundtrack would be awesome! In the meantime just do a search for Dungeon Master - Return To Chaos it's a decent clone of these classic games.
