Another Discworld fan from the '90s. Videogames led me to the books and I love them. I consider Terry Pratchett to be one of the finest writers out there. Really hope to see these games added to the GOG collection.

really need this game (and the rest of the Discworld series)... loved it on the Playstation and the Sega Saturn :D played it on the PC as well but now you almost can't get it running right :(

PLEASE bring the full Discworld franchise, GOG! And while you're at it, Callahan's Crosstime Saloon! I played both of these games right around the same time in the mid/late 90's, and immediately discovered they were based upon a series of novels which I then took upon myself to read every last one of them and became a life long fan. Videogames led to the books for me, not the other way around... probably unusual, but whatever, I love 'em all the same!

I've been playing the special editions of Monkey Island 1 & 2 and just got a huge feeling of nostaligia for the Discworld games. I really hope GOG get hold of the series as I really don't want to have to do the whole DosBox thing. I have Noir on disc but I think last time I played it there were some serious game-breaking bugs. It would be a shame if these games were abandoned - they're just too funny!

Absolute classic of my childhood - many, many hours spent playing this. In a fit of nostalgia, bought the Playstation (1) version off eBay - still works on my PS2 - but it's clunky using the controller instead of a mouse, and just isn't the same. I'd love to have it on my laptop - so if it could be released for Mac, even better! (I think the original version I had was on a Mac in the first place). DW2 & Noire would be great, too, of course, but this is one with the real nostalgia value for me!

I still have Discworld on CD, went through it again recently. Hard game but love it. Anyone else remember the little pewter figure you got with the boxed version of the game? I lost mine unfortunately, it was Ridcully.

I was wondering, why this series is not on gog. Those games are real classics - incl. DW Noire. Definitely a must-buy when it is for sale here.

I remember playing Discworld Noir that I got from the home of the Underdogs, but I didn't complete it, although it was very good, it crashed a lot. I love the books and would like to play this game.

If I'm not wrong I remember when the SCUMMVM team was working to have this game, in their talks to recover the lost game's source code it was released as free along with the 2.

Ah , yes , got the cd version while trading in some other crappy game back in 97 , very glad i did! As it now plays perfectly with scummvm it would be good to be able to purchase this gem again, go me reading the novels too, maybe someone from scummvm team has the contacts to get this one and maybe dw2 on board !

I love the old point and click games and the Discworld games were as good for me as the Monkey Islands. So I would love to see them both on GOG.

Seriously though. Aside from being a terrific Pratchett fan, Discworld was the first game I ever played on the PS1. I have soooo much love for this game.

Oh hell yes, I remember this game making me rage so much as a kid, but I loved the humor and plot so much that I kept throwing myself at it. Would love to see it get on here, I'd happily buy it.
