Although the name contain the number 3, the devs say that it will be a remake of the first Cossacks. The game is being developed for 1,5 year by the developers who made Stalker and the original Cossacks games. It should be release this year on Windows and Linux. Game not optimized. My laptop with NVIDIA Quadro 1600m just turning off due overheating. So I can play Half Life 2, GTA5 and can't play just RTS game on it? Eh..

In its current state, the game is an insult, but the developers promised powerful modding tools allowing us to add all the missing basics like morale, stamina, cohesion, realistic units and uniforms, standard bearers etc. Total conversions (a new American Conquest?) should also be possible.
On TWCenter, I've suggested one of their PR people to release it on GOG.

I'd also love a GOG release of this. Since there are plenty of other GSC titles on GOG, I hope it'll happen

Cossacks 3 was released on Steam. As I read there are a lot of bugs. Some even say it should be put in early access.
But I hope as soon as they support Linux they also will release it here.

Come on guys - we would all love to see this game came out on here! It looks great and is very much derived from the original 'good old game'!

I very much want to see this released on GOG! It shall be on Steam and I believe that the developers have mentioned that they will look at other game delivery platforms later, though I hope they get the ball rolling for it to come to GOG (it will be GOG must-buy for myself).
