Overhead proto-RTS developed by Koji Sumii and published by ASCII/Login in 1983/1984 for the Sharp X1 and other Japanese computers. Hacking and translation should be minimal, almost a beginner's project with the amount of text needing work (English characters will even save memory space in the ROM image!).

Released to acclaim and frustration, this game puts you in the role of a king fighting to destroy an enemy principality. Using the king, as well as a knight (capable of opening prison cells holding your captured troops) and a private battalion of pawns at you command, players must amass forces against barriers to charge through and decimate the opposition. Though the X1 original is tough and unforgiving, it was still more well balanced than the Famicom/NES port (which forced you to build up an army over time, rather than start you out with an army). Login Magazine soon rebalanced the game and released it to PC-88 customers in 1984, so including that version as a bonus would be worthwhile.
