Hey, all. Good news for compatibility and ease of setup on modern systems. One blogger from the UK by the name of Biffman has gracefully compiled custom installers with a DOSBox build for the PC version and FS-UAE for the Amiga version for each of both B.A.T. and B.A.T. 2, respectively. He released them one by one back in August 2019 and September 2019.

So, there's no good reason for GOG admins to delay in releasing these very early adventures from a great French software house (They were Computer Dreams, then after B.A.T.'s release, they evolved and created Haiku Studios) right now. Just contact Ubisoft, I'm sure they'd be happy to allow it.

very awesome immersive cyberpunk point'n'click/rpg game with cool music and atmosphere... Remember playing them on my Amiga in the 90ies. I loved the programmable subdermal computer stuff. The current cyberpunk hype made me think how much i missed those two games. Didnt know they were also released on PC but it seems there were MS DOS versions, and it was published by Ubisoft. Would like to see them on gog

I remember B.A.T. (on floppy!) having incredible atmosphere, but it was really hard to figure out what you were supposed to do besides survive random attacks and play the arcade machine. I might still have the manual stored away; iirc it told the game world's history in needlessly complex detail. I got accustomed to the interface so it didn't seem so clunky. Later, I used a walkthrough to nearly complete it -- the "maze" near the end was buggy and I could never get out. Maybe B.A.T. tried to be too many things, but I deeply appreciated it and would love to see a working version plus the sequel!
