I hope EA will license this game. EA is going down the tubes right now, they may license the title to make money. They also may hold onto it to sell if they sink any further. Either way someone is going to end up being hurt by EA.

Ok maybe it’s just me, but when I played this game I spent most of my time screaming an the god awful controls. I mean the Quake engine is fine for shooters, (if you like player’s moving like the Energizer Bunny on speed) but for platforming it just suck’s.

Since the game has already been sold coupled with Madness Returns via a timed deal on Origin, I imagine it should be quite easy to finally get a downloadable copy of this game online... and if there's one online shop I would want to get it from, it's GOG. Make it happen!

I never finished it, but even though it was very linear it was very atmospheric and like any good book worth finishing...at least once.

The HD version over the patched original would be preferred but I EA's own marketing department can't get along with corporate. Let's remember that this is same company that releases racing game's that can't use controllers or wheels. However, it's ready to ship and known that it is a corporate hang-up. The HD version that came pre-order AMR does use same resource dependencies as AMR but those can literally be copied into the folder. Definitely the best best of the Quake III engine games, even if Madness Returns is not the best Unreal engine game. EA should have opened this one up to help sales of the sequel but that was just another dropped ball.

Just checked the game is $20+ for a used copy, and that is the starting price for used copies on Amazon.com. I don't want to spend that much on a game that might not work on newer systems. Same for Emperor: Battle for Dune, but that game is $30+ for a used copy.
