Put score in the achievements.In steam thousands of users have requested that we put points on the achievements.If they are points in the achievements would be a way to differentiate themselves from steam.In addition the achievements have been a success and are options,are not mandatory as well that do not harm to the user who does not want to have and benefit to the users that excite them the points in the achievements.

SimTabouretski With GOG 2.0, I would love to see this feature. It's nice to work towards a main goal (PSN level or Xbox points). It could even be optional.
Patias I totally agree. It could also follow the same methodology of Playstation, through levels in the account. Whatever.
The point is to upgrade the achievements so that they have a greater value.
This is my big dream today at GOG. Not even Steam has something like that. Their achievements also end up being worthless.

jsjrodman Gamification of achievements undermines community further, and as well undermines the personal valuation of each achievement. I encourage this particular treadmill to be skipped.

We could have every achievement worth 10 points for instance, and apply a modificator based on the number of people that unlocked the achievement versus the number of people that played the game. So a more difficult achievement would obviously have more point value.
Zick-YT Instead of points add something similar to the trophy system from PS4! Is a much better system with the Platinum Trophy instead of simple points that are meaningless

spreadtheblood commenting again just to add more to previous post. Yes, some people don't like score, but I don't see a reason NOT to add score, or trophies, or something that just makes achievements more meaningful. after I beat a game, going back through and collecting all the achievements adds extra replay-ability to it to me. Sure, not everyone may want it...but for those who do, I say add it just because. Its a "one up" on steam and totally would make me favor Galaxy over Steam.
nirrtix I would like a point system, but I think we should have some way to show off our achievements like in a signature... Steam does not allow this so what is the point? In XBOX Live you could tag it to your signature on the internet and it showed on your Xbox screenname.
EvilAaron Not to worried about points per achievement they are worth the same eitherway (not much lol), but would be nice to have public viewable web browser achievement page or API for syncing so sites like metagamerscore.com/ can support GOG Galaxy acheivement sync.
drdead A small incentive to get the achievements would be great, but there shouldn't be anything BIG.
Rhys_R It would be nice to have. Gamerscore added an additional level of competition between friends that steam style achievements just don't have.
_Husam Points, aka "gamerscore", is meaningless. What they should truly do is something like Playstation has, with their Trophies.
Achievements start out rare, and the more people unlock them the less rare they become.
That way achievements are gauged on their merits, and how difficult they are to achieve, instead of just allowing developers to assign arbitrary numbers to "difficult" achievements that are actually a cake walk.
Tiagozak I support this, but only under the condition that the achievements will be cheater-proof (unlike the Steam ones which you can unlock by using a third-party program)
Xiyng Please no. I enjoy achievements on Steam way more than on consoles because I feel like getting the achievement is the reason I decided to get the achievement, instead of the reason being getting points. Please no points!

spreadtheblood YES! Achievements are POINTLESS on steam. That is the one huge thing I miss about console gaming. I want points, or score, or something..then I want to be able to show it off on my profile. Please make achievements valuable. I'm already leaning toward making the jump to Galaxy, even with my 200+ game steam library...with meaningful achievements, I'll be totally onboard. Im yet to use the client..don't have many games yet (Just preordered witcher 3 on gog though) but do achievements make any sounds? I sure do miss it..

Rathori I don't see any point in achievements having point values assigned to them. Seems more like blind copying of Xbox Live/PSN/Origin/whatever.
