This is without a doubt one the worst soccer games I have ever played. And that is because the developers didn´t care.
*The AI is inconsistent at best, but mostly cheats.
*You can count the number of sound effects on one hand.
*The mechanics when taking a corner is broken.
*The keepers almost never moves out from the goal line. If you pass back to them, they wont go for it.read more
*The editor is abysmal.
*The teams only have 16 players, and you cant save a changed lineup.
*The players are rated by one single star rating, so it doesn´t matter if you set a forward as a defender, the are just the same.
*The camera is so bad, so I had to download a custom user created config file to be able to anything.
*And yes, there is only one camera angle.
*If you create a custom team, the only way to make the player get better is to win tournaments, and the reward is fixed a certain player. If you for example win the premier league (38 games to play), the reward might be that your backup defender (or forward, since they can play anywhere) who hasn´t played a game gets +½ star rating. You cant give the reward to anyone else, and if you finish second you don´t get anything.

A misjudged revival of a classic game, this is fun for 15 minutes but beyond that, I really wouldn't recommend it. It was a brave attempt, but there are just so many things that don't feel right that you can't really overlook them. I do love the graphical style though.

This game is neither good, nor is it particularily old at the ripe age of four years. If you want to relive your love for Sensible Soccer, save your ten bucks and find Sensible World of Soccer either in it's original 1996 form as abandonware, or get the 2007 XBLA remake. Both are superior to this travesty.
