In 2002, when "Medal of Honor : Allied Assault" arrived, it was from the outside a basic FPS but from the inside... OH. My. God. What a feast. The traditional scripts were here, of course, but they were like ten or twenty times far more intense than everything we've seen before. You felt like you were in a Hollywood movie, in "Saving private Ryan" in particular. Action all overread more the place, true missions with intensity, it was just a notch above everything else we've seen.
And the D-Day missions. Wow. Just Wow. This mission has to be one of the best missions I've seen and experienced in a FPS. It's followed by a string of other missions dedicated to Normandy which is a masterpiece in gameplay. It's been inspired by films of course and it also inspired the series of "Call of duty" games. This first instalment is by far the best of the series.
At this price and with the add-ons, you would be crazy to miss it.

At last it arrived!
MoH with its two addons Spearhead and Breakthrough is one of the very few shooters I tend to play again and again (the other two are Undying and Return to Castle Wolfenstein).
Medal of Honor brings a lot of action-packed, well-concepted missions with very different objectives. In the most famous mission, you have to participate in the invasion at D-Day. In others, read more you have to act like a clever scout, a stealthy spy or even as tank-commander. I personally prefer the missions, where you are under disguise and have to accomplish missions behind the enemy lines, commando style. If you don't mind the somewhat aged graphics, you can't make a mistake by buying this excellent "War Chest".
It never gets boring for me! Highly recommended!

This was one of the most amazing games I've ever played. I cannot tell you how many hours I've played online using The All Seeing Eye (rest in peace, good buddy) to find servers.
Surprisingly fast-paced multiplayer with excellent maps, a great story in single player, beautiful sound (this being the first game I played when I got a surround sound system for my PC might make me a little biased).
Definitely worth a purchase.
