An episodic game not a real adventure

The story is nice, but the game is really really too short (you can finish it in less then 4 hours) and it ends just when it is beginning to become interesting, telling you that you need to wait for next episode.

3-hour episodic adventures

The story is incomplete, really short, and includes some of the worst story telling I have encountered in a long time. The publisher is a liar. Gameplay is really shitty, and bugs (including game breaking bugs) abound. The graphics, soundtrack, and voices are OK. Even with the amazing Dracula trilogy thrown in this is a really horrible buy.

Nice adventure, but feels too short

I loved the adventure, but it feels a bit too short at the end. While Dracula 3 was longer, Dracula 4 has the same qualities, a good story, nice visuals and a great atmosphere (especially at the end of the game), but the enigmas are easier. It took me a little bit more than 5h to reach the end of the game. So I'm giving it 4 stars because I loved the game, but -1 star for its length.

Wait for a sale

This game is very confused. It wants you to play the prologue separately but doesn't prompt you to do it. It has a health mechanic that's more a nuisance than anything. It's short, devilishly short (took me three hours). It's really just half a game, with the other half (Dracula 5) releasing soon, yet it's fully priced. Being half a game, the ending is just stupid. And yet this game can be brilliant. It builds off the interface and mechanics of Dracula 3:Path of the dragon while making them (finally) user friendly. The exploration of the main location (because we really only have a main location and a couple smaller ones) feels natural. The puzzles are logical and easy enough to solve without feeling trivial. Also, people who played PotD will get a real kick when they unlock the Vault. Unfortunately I can't recommend this game outright, both because it feels incomplete and because it is way too expensive for what it offers. BUT if you loved the dracula series (as I did) or you stumble upon this game at 50% off you should definitely buy it.

Not good enough

1)The graphic is good but not good enough for atmosphere because: - the cemetery was not detailed enough (compared to Dracula 3) - in turkey (Istanbul), the architecture, decoration and cloths were more like in Morocco or Egypt. 2) too much easy. really too much. (in contrast with Dracula 3 which was awesome) 3) the puzzles were really unrelated to the game. just remember "arma sunt inde mala" or "mcmxxix". 4) some puzzles were not original. the last puzzle for example or the Romania flag. these were not interesting for me. but I must wait for next episode to have a good judgement.
