Enjoying this immensly.
Bought the Precious Edition in support of the developer and I deeply appreciate them releasing it DRM-free out of the gates! The amount of love that went into the audio and visuals is obvious. I catch myself just standing (errr crouching) at certain vistas staring out at the distant horizons. Very engrossing atmosphere! The gameplay is pick-up-a-controller console style, but I am really enjoying that from a casual gaming point of view. I can jump in and out quickly, in my spare time, and have an enjoyable experience. The story is well integrated into the gameplay and interesting enough for me to keep pressing on. Is it worth $60? To me it most certainly is as I can tell the huge amount of work that went into it. I'm into the atmospherics within a game first and foremost. I love to explore what the artists have created. The gameplay reminds me of titles I grew up on when computers were still beige. Not too deep, just simple and fun. That is not a criticism, but rather, it's exactly what I wanted out of the game. Money well spent and I plan on a couple of playthroughs to really soak it all in. Bottom line? I'm glad this was made! The story, graphics and sound make it an overall entertaining experience.
