No DRM-Free
Wanted to play it with my brother, each on his computer but you have to play it via GOG Galaxy to play online and Lan.

No local multiplayer
It's completly useless to buy this game on GOG.com, since it's not actually DRM free if you want to play this with friends (what is the whole point of buying games here). I really wish back the time when you and your friend just brought a CD/DVD to test a game together. Now, everybody has to buy a copy of the game, just to find out if it's worth it or not. I think I'll start getting cracked copies again.

Content locked behind DRM multiplayer
The multiplayer mode of this game is locked behind third party servers, not just Galaxy matchmaking. But even if you don't care about multiplayer, all sections of the game that require ingame keycards are multiplayer only.

Local OL Split Screen Co-op DOES Work.
I just wanted to chime in to provide some clarity to a lot of the reviews complaining about multi-player. Incase anyone is in the same situation I was in and was hesitating to buy the game because they didn't think it did what you were wanting it to do. I wanted to play local, offline, split-screen co-op on a tablet PC with two controllers and the players sitting side by side (couch co-op) and the GOG version does this perfectly. I do not ever use the GOG Galaxy client so all of my installs are with the Offline installers. I can't vouch for playing with a friend over the internet or on a LAN since I didn't play that way but couch co-op, split-screen with each player using a game controller works perfectly. Not sure why some people keep using the phrase "local" when they are referring to online multi-player over the internet.
