Hexagons are first order permutohedrons: the vertices of a hexagon can be formed by permuting the coordinates of the vector (1, 2, 3).
The north pole of the planet Saturn has a hexagonal storm cloud pattern with 8,600 mile long sides, larger than the diameter of Earth.
Though hexagon may appear to be a difficult word to rhyme, there are actually dozens of words that rhyme with it. For example: Autobahn, decagon, decathlon, electron, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, leprechaun, and marathon.

Super Hexagon looks simple, but plays hard. All you need to do is rotate a triangle around a spinning, pulsating hexagon, and avoid all of the moving walls that are racing towards the center. In this simple concept there is such a depth of gameplay though, that you can joyfully play this game for hours on end, day after day. There is little to the graphics, there is no storylineread more or exposition, yet I find I Super Hexagon more than most other games I own. It's enjoyably difficult. The challenge is so great that I notice my performance changes based on how much sleep I've had, or whether I've had a cup of coffee. It's that sensitive to changes in your attention. I can use my time scores as a metric for how alert I am for the day. It's like a meditation exercise simply to play the game because it forces you to pay attention completely, both near the center of the hexagon, and along the outskirts, in all directions. You will find yourself transfixed. It's strangely relaxing and energizing at the same time. It's utterly hypnotic.

This is a twitch / reflex game in it's simplest, purest form. I knew in the first 5 seconds of playing that this game wasn't to my taste (although I loved VVVVVV, by the same developer). In spite of that, I find I cannot, in good conscience, deduct any points in my rating. It's fast, and colorful, has a good soundtrack, and does exactly what it's supposed to do, without flaws inread more game play, design, or delivery. For that, it really deserves full points.
If gaming that relies solely on reflex takes you to a transcendent place, then get this. If, like me, you find such gaming mind-numbing, then skip it. Either way, however, it remains a work of art.

There is not much to say about this game: It's fun, It's difficult, it's got a great sound track and it's dirt cheap.
I guess the only thing that really bugged me was the announcer, which would often interrupt the 'flow'. On the bright side it can be disabled by removing some of the sound files.
This game is worth buying. Get it.
