Design Your Starting Family
With the new Family Designer feature, you have much more control over your initial family. Customise each character's age and appearance, as well as your family's size. Do you want to begin with a troop of children, or none at all? You can even start from an empty house, for an extra challenge.

Mould Your Children to Your Needs
With new events surrounding your child's upbringing, you can influence how they grow and develop. Determine their personalities and the skills they learn. Or use them as political pawns to build trust with vassals and nearby rulers.

Control Who Inherits
New succession models have been added, giving players more options and control over who will rise to power within the dynasty. Wield the ability to disinherit family members and appoint new heirs wisely, to keep everyone in line. And when you're tired of ruling, abdicate and let your heirs handle the mess.

Unlock and Upgrade Your Dynasty
As more of your kin rise to power, you will be able to unlock points that can be spent on upgrades to benefit generations to come. Garner a bloodthirsty reputation that intimidates other rulers, win the adoration of the common folk, or become the galaxy's foremost diplomats. Choose your legacy!

Family Drama

Bring the whole family along!

Adds some more amazing features to an amazingly designed game. This game really make you feel like your in charge of the people trying to maintain power of several systems in an ocean of other rulers trying to do the same thing. If you like the main game, then this DLC takes it to the next level allowing you to completely design your entire family and starting setup, including if you uncle is married to another systems Duchess. The Bloodline buffs (technology tree) is nice for extra options on how you play your current game, working out what suits your current situation and what will help you become stronger based on your characters strengths and weakness. Finally adding some much need events/interaction with your children, helping shape them into what your family needs are.
