This is a masterpiece; nothing less.
Where to begin? This game has changed the way I think about death and passing, loss and letting go - finding meaning and peace. It's heart-wrenchingly sad without being heartbreaking. Yet, it is achingly beautiful. If you've ever lost someone you love, I recommend it to you. It's a game that makes you want to sit under the stars on a clear night and make a wish for all those lives that have touched yours. I lost my father seven years ago and was left with a lifetime of unsaid things, regrets and meaningful connections yearned for any only made when he was suddenly slipping away. This game brought me peace, and has prompted me to earnestly reflect on why we are here and what our own personal meaning is. I will be a better person because of it. I have never smiled so much with tears in my eyes. The music alone is an artistic masterpiece and the sound design of this game can be nothing but the crowning achievement of those who worked on it. Thank you, Thunder Lotus. Gustav would be proud of you.
