Fun to play, fiddly controls

The game is fun to play, but the controls are fiddly. If you hold your keyboard key for a millisecond longer, the game misinterprets it as a double click. This makes it hard to navigate the map, and sometimes you skip too many dialogue lines by accident. Autoscrolling of the dialogues is too fast even on the "Slow" setting, so you miss a lot of the text. And, yes, I actually want to read the text, the story is important in games!

Only half a game, but well worth it

Slave's sword is pretty hard to review. This game has no end. Well it does, but sadly it's in Slave's Sword 2. All in all, both games together form a wonderful package which I was surprised to learn, has some very clever ideas. The writing is surprisingly good as well most of the times and covers themes you will very rarely see in games, even adult ones. If this was one game instead of two, I would be more comfortable giving it the full score, but this does leave some taste in my mouth.

Simple game, but fun to play

Pro: Interesting story, nice writings, Stealth part was funny Cons: Too easy, Magic & Special abilities not really existing, equipment too strong, cards system not necessary.

It's a Great Game

Great game with a nice story, very compelling. While there is a good ending, it's the first of two parts and the real ending is in the second one of course. Beside that it's a classic JRPG. While the diverse mechanic are pretty much standard, there are something for everyone; stealth, puzzle, exploration and others. The level is capped at 30 and there is a time when you can level and earn money/goods to upgrade your gears as long as you wish (whitout resorting to prostitution :-) ). On the H side, scenes are nice and will unlock automaticaly at the end so you can whatch them all. Very reccomended.

Not able to install

Not able to install that game. And the unrated Patch from the kagura website is only for steam.
