Fun and goofy!
A fun and goofy managerial game :) Money is earned by rehabilitating the prisoners, granting parole and completing grants. You can build and design the layout of the prison and will unlock new buildings and furniture as your prestige gets higher. There are also trees, plants and pathways to make the gardens look nice :) You can record your own messages to be broadcast over the prison P. A. System if you want :) The graphics of the game are really nice and friendly-looking and the music and sound effects are lovely. I've spent several days happily playing :) Rooms can be resized, moved and copied, so you don't have to stress over getting the perfect placement of everything at the start. Holding shift while placing a piece of furniture will let you place as many as you want without having to click it in the menu each time, and pressing Esc when the game asks you to connect the room you just build to the energy network will let you freely place the starting point of the cable instead of having to start from the middle of the room which will cost more money. The prisoners have a happiness level and if you let them become too unhappy they are more likely to start fights and try to escape. You can raise their happiness by adding a window, toilet, sink, radio, wardrobe, heater and fan to their cells, and build a gym early because when they are rehabilitated they enjoy working out. You can also build entertainment rooms and visitor center to help keep them happy. Divan therapy is a basic therapy room. It will work for all kinds of problems, but it will rehabilitate them slowly and there will be a higher chance of them re-offending. You can build different kinds of therapy rooms later that will help with specific problems, sending the prisoners to those rooms will rehabilitate them faster and they will have a lower chance of re-offending in the future. You might want to hold off on building all of them at first and spread it out a bit to conserve money though.
