My all-time favorite war game and erra
I'm not really getting the Open General comparison. I've played both on my iPad, and never went back to OG after picking up Panzer Corp. The game can be difficult, and the turn-based head2head multiplayer option (with email notify) allows you to play a game for weeks at a time against a friend or random opponent. It not unlike have a long distance chess match which spans days, weeks, or months. Great for folks who don't have time to play everyday, and just want to play a turn or two and go to bed. Like I said, I have the iPad version, but I also bought the Gold version for PC-Windows. When you set up your online account for email-turn-based, you can play from either platform, thus switching back-and-forth. Gives you the big screen at home, and a nice portable version for on the road. Don't listen to the haters. This game is great for vets who enjoy history and tactics. Slitherine is a top-notch strategy gaming company, perhaps the best of all time, and deserves your attention. You will literally spend hours playing this game, save and walk away, and then think about it all day while at work. Cheers!
