Legends of Eisenwald: Road to Iron Forest

Totally worth getting, the story told in this scenario is the best i have had the opportunity to enjoy. The writters and everyone involved in this scenario have my thanks for making this. It's a short story that takes a couple of hours with a great twist that makes you understand what the uncle's letter really means, although it isn't clear as to why the youngest gets said letter and not either of the elder brothers, but otherwise great story!

Sorry, but I did not like the game. I'm big fan of medieval games and tactical combat, so this looked like a good choice for me. But in the end, I quit playing it quite fast: The game is not intuitive enough, and the tactical part feels too blunt - I did not really felt like there is a space for tactics at all. I think the strongest aspect of the game is the lore and the story, and that is something I was not really interested in.

From the little I played it seemed as if RtiF plays the same as Legends. If you like the way Legends play, as I do not, you will probably like RitF. Unless, of course, you get the same crash bug as I did. I reinstalled, redownloaded and reinstalled, and still had the exact same crash. It came about an hour in, so that is as much of RtiF as I have played. Unfortunately for me, I bought the addons for Legends without playing it first. If you like the play style of Legends, and can avoid the bug I had, you might well enjoy RtiF.
