It’s a Wrap! is a challenging 2D puzzle platformer set in 1980s Hollywood, where you play both the director and the star of action-packed, low-budget films.
All you wanted to do today was shoot a nice little popcorn movie, but everything is going wrong! As the director, you need to synchronize the actors and props that are messing up their timings. Then, as the movie’s star, you need to remember your script and play out the scene—without getting crushed by that giant boulder!
Features
Director’s Phase. Grab your megaphone and hop into the director’s chair to puzzle your way through the timing of props, actors, and special effects to make your scene work—and keep your star in one piece.
Action Phase. When you think you’ve got your scene set up correctly, roll the cameras and enjoy a variety of traditional 2D gameplay like platforming, car chases, and space battles where you control the movie star Johnny Rush in his most iconic roles.
A hundred colorful ways to “die”. Every time you fail, poor Johnny—who does not have a stunt double—will suffer a hilarious demise inspired by classic cartoons and adventure games. But don’t worry about long-lasting injuries, just rewind back to the beginning of the scene and try again!
Heaping spoonfuls of nostalgia. Each level is part of a movie with its own unique genre and look inspired by the biggest blockbusters of the 80s. See if you can spot all the references to your favorite fictional professors of archaeology, space wizards, and retired soldiers on the run from the law!

I found 'It's a Wrap ' to be quite enjoyable. It's a combination of platforming with a puzzle and I'd highly recommended to those that love to think and solve puzzles.
The puzzle element involves You having to time events happening on screen in the right way. Then you have to combine those events playing out with you moving your character to reach the goal. You'll often be required to also carry out some other duties like collecting items.
The platforming is simple. No complex moves and no impossible to perform jumps will be required. The main challenge here is figuring out how to time the events so that you can act out the required script.
If you are the kind that is easily frustrated when you can't solve a puzzle and hate failing many times this is not the game for you. If on the other hand, you love persisting through a challenge and have a positive attitude about learn from mistakes this is what you'll be doing. You'll need to make mistakes just for the sake of learning.
Those that dislike this game, dislike the fact that they need to figure out what the puzzle designer wanted them to do. This is however, what makes the game great! The sense of satisfaction of solving a stage you repeatedly felt clueless about, after 40 to 80 tries is amazing.
There is also a story in between levels to reward you for completing it which is fun, especially if you like cinema and are familiar with 80s and early 90s films which are parodied all throughout the game.
My only criticism for the game is that I wanted it to be longer. Overall though, I still think it is worth the price. If you are a weakling that wants games to be easy then don't bother with it. If you like to persist, exercise your brain or want to practice your self-discipline muscle, you're in for a rewarding experience.
As a experienced game player and machine operator, also logical game master myself, I can pass certain level smoothly.
As a offline game the game, the overall hints are ONLY FOUR (4)!! I bought the game, and you just make the hint system useless, I rather choose easy difficult instead.
The FATAL problem IS, the game HAS NO VARIOUS SOLUTIONS!! I'm type explorer, and I don't need you to teach or force me how to play your game or reach your mind, ESPECIALLY in LOGICAL game, this drives people crazy, not only me. We can't guess someone what he thought.
The level 4 is a time lacking level, you should drag the only bar to the final line, and you need to use jumps to make run faster (a rpg trick) to reach goal bearly timing. The snow block is totally useless, just put in beginning.
I would like a refund, but I hope maker to update the hint to unlimited. Because the game is insteresting some way.
