Guard Duty

I liked the game, it has very beautiful Pixel Art in a smooth Simon the Sorcerer style. The adventure part is quit easy and tame. You concentrate on one problem to solve at a time. The problems are quite easy. In Act I and II you do have an inventory. In Act III you do not have one. You get only very few items (mostly one at a time) which are applied automatically. The game is short. I played through it in about 5 hours. Well invested money for this short and easy game.

This is a 4-hour-long adventure game with ALL the charm of Monkey Island, Dragonsphere and Legend of Kyrandia. Perfectly lovely for an evening of Point'n'Click, nostalgia and cute humour. If you live a busy life and have little time to spend on long adventure games, this is DEFINITELY for you! Visiting magical kingdoms, saving magical princesses, solving riddles, riding beasts, etc. You'll enjoy this very very much. It's voice-acted, has lovely pixelated graphics and the UI is so familliar you'll need no explanation. This is for old-timer fans of Point'n'Click adventures. Nothing serious, nothing gut-wrenching and quite short. If you are looking for a long, winding, non-linear experience - look elsewhere. Short and sweet. LOVED it (well, technically still loving it, I'm in act 2/3).

This is a nice point-and-click adventure, I had completed it in two evenings. It is funny that the NPCs are voice acted with different English accents (for example, the painter lady's got a genuine Scottish accent), so when the story says the NPCs are from different parts of the land, it is easier to believe.

Awesome game with pretty intuitive puzzles i.e. not much putting magnets on bubblegum on a stick. Pays homage to Discworld though it doesn't need to; the game stands up on its own Artwork and sound are great and it all seems overlooked. If the makers made a longer playing game I would buy it, and not just on sale which is how I buy pretty much every other game. Big point and click adventure fan here. Loved it.
