This is a great trilogy and the price is unbeatable. The first Gobliiins game is quite hard because your little team shares a life bar and every injuring action empties it a bit. The problem is that doing the wrong actions is half the fun of these games. The goblins get hurt and the complain to you about sending them into these traps. It's hilarious.
Gobliins 2 gets rid of theread more bar and you can try everything out without worrying. You get 5 jokers in case you get stuck that will help you complete a screen. Especially the later levels require exact timing which can get quite frustrating.
Goblins 3 is by far the best part in the series. You get different partners with different abilities and all the puzzles are logical. The voice overs in the games are quite quirky, but they really fit the crazy characters and the overall funny tone of the games.
If you like adventures, you really shouldn't miss out on the Gobliiins. Too bad that Goblins 4 was such a let down. But if GOG gets Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth, be sure to check it out. It's the unofficial sequel to these games.

The series created by Pierre Gilhodes are possibly one of the most twisted adventure games out there. Gobliiins pack takes you into a surreal fantasy world, where you guide your goblins through a series of twisted puzzles to achieve a goal - whether it's to save the king, the prince or the reunite two kingdoms.
The Gobliiins series were always known for it's beautiful and livelyread more graphics, lots of little details added there and there and most importantly - hard to guess puzzles. Take that as a warning adventure game fans - most of the rooms will leave you wondering for days what to do. Quick wit and quick hand is required for some of the puzzles!
Nevertheless the games shine through their unique humor and visuals. A must have for every respected adventure game fan.
Now let's hope that GOG will release Gilhodes' magnum opus - Wodruff and Schnible of Azimuth

I guess I will be the only voice of dissent about this game.
I remember playing these games quite a few days before the internet. Back then, those hint books were a downright NECESSITY if you ever wanted any hope of completing these games.
In the "What's cool about it" section of the game, it lists Mind-boggling puzzles but the reality is that the so-called puzzlesread more can only be solved by randomly clicking on the screen with no rhyme or reason for it.
Cute? Yes. Funny? Absolutely. Logical or coherent puzzles? Nope.
Before the internet, I had to shell out for the hint books... All three games are included, at a great price AND they include the hint books! That's nice. Be aware: You'll be printing those out and following the instructions in order to finish these games.
Have fun with that.
As for me, I'll play something a little less random and a lot more fun.
