GOG Did Not Censor This!

It is very important for me to explain that the mosaic censorship is not on GOG's or any other storefront's end. The publisher Alicesoft brought this game over with Japanese mosaics, which also appear in Dohna Dohna and A Housewife's Healing Touch. Steam rejected this game, even with mosaic censorship. It does not matter where you buy it, you cannot get this game without mosaics. But if you are playing just for the hentai, you're missing the point. First of all, the game is lighter on content than the first and doesn't feature quite so many dark scenes. What you're getting here is more of a JRPG with adult content, rather than a mere hentai game. Though the story is focused around sex, it still offers a bit of dungeon crawling and turn based battles. You are getting a game here. It's like if Kagura had an actual budget to their titles. Alicesoft put a lot of work into this one and while it may not be as good as the prior title in the series, it's still a fun and interesting game and JRPG fans will want to check it out. Once again, if you are only looking to buy the game for it's sex scenes, look elsewhere because this is just not that kind of game. Be ready for a long JRPG adventure here.

Mid

No, this isn't about mosaics or anything, I'm just amazingly underwhelmed by how boring the game is even compared to the first game. Cute girls and the occasional amusing sentence can't hide the fact that Alicesoft are awful at making gameplay solely reliant on their extremely basic turn-based combat systems lacking an extra layer of strategy or management to make anything going on in the gameplay side feel like it matters. I was hoping the whole "Hero Syndrome" system would make for an improvement from the first game because it essentially gives party members debuffs the longer you stay away from a hub area to heal at a hospice. Problem being there is no limit to how many times you can do this nor any incentive to avoid doing such (having some kind of time limit to do certain objectives would've probably helped with pushing the player forward rather than just healing the moment they catch something). In fact, there are times where the game will just ignore the Syndrome system and stop it until you progress farther in the game (like the opening sections of Chapter 2) so it's a wonder what the fucking point of it even is beyond being a stupid gimmick. This is just on top of the combat still being piss easy in general. On a more subjective note, Alex is a boring protagonist (which brings down a lot of the interactions with the characters), world building was a lot less interesting, and the general plot about diseases wasn't engaging so any drive for me to keep going to a certain point for the sake of the story was dead in its tracks too. You could probably do better with almost anything else in Alicesoft's catalogue than this one. Shame I have to shit on the first game Alice are self publishing in the West but frankly, if it saves someone the time and money to get better eroge, sure.

More of the Same

Came here since the game was to hot for steam. The first couple characters you recruit are pretty solid along with the last one, but the story and the main gimmick, medica, become boring really fast. A lot of the side characters are pretty fun, but they are not enough to keep this game going past the third act. If you have to choose between this game or the first, I would recommend the first due as much of this game's new content is window dressing and the core systems stay the same. Ideally though, play Rance Quest. Similar mechanics, but with wayyyy more characters to use and a much more interesting story as a whole.

Works Great on the Steam Deck!

First let me say this game works great on the Steam Deck! I created a GOG account and purchased Evenicle 2 on sale. I then used Heroic Game Launcher in the Steam Deck's desktop mode to link with my GOG account. I then downloaded Evenicle 2 and installed it on my Steam Deck. I wish GOG would state this way on their website! After installation all I had to do was map the controls to the Steam Deck controls. So far I really enjoy this game being a fan of Kenichiro Takaki's character designs from his previous Senran Kagura games. The voice actors fit the characters just right. The turn-based combat is pretty decent to move the story along. I'm ok with the mosaics although I wish alicesoft would release an uncensored patch to add to it. There are some scenes where the characters have white all over their torso down their arms. It's as though they are wearing a white long sleeve t-shirt. Kind of ridiculous to me. There is a scene where an underage boy has sex with an underage girl tho nothing is shown except the image of the girl with mosaics. This was very uncomfortable, but if you can get past that scene the rest of the game and the character interactions are nice as they are all adults!

I "came" for the mammories

and stayed for the gameplay At first i thought, oh god i'm cumming, then i realized while this game definitely has some hot babes it's actually okay. NO, it's better than okay, it's BUSSIN. If you like huge jugs or classic JRPGs this is the game for you brother so give it a buy, i didn't regret it and neither will you.
