Bought, played and enjoyed!

I played through the Neverhood and I needed an online walkthrough to finish it. For this one - nah! The game stay simple the whole time which I liked the most, most puzzles are fun, but there are one which I know the solution to it but was frustrating to solve (last door puzzle). Graphics are almost the same as Neverhood so I wouldn't say its great. However the game has easy achievements if you had it on console (I have). It takes about 4-6 hours to playthrough, so its shorter than most adventure games. I am not saying I loved Armikrog, but liked it to play through twice.

Unique, charming, and challenging

I am a huge fan of Neverhood so when I saw Armikrog I grabbed it. I love the claymation, the music, sound effects. I almost gave it 4 stars because some of the puzzles didn't seem intuitive and after awhile I got some hints on some. The game is leisurely, so if you like rapid action, this is not for you. It's a sweet story, and our hero, Tommynaut, is good through and through. But mostly I loved the look of it, the occasional fingerprints, and the awareness that this was made with love and patience. I hope they come out with another claymation game.

While it is somewhat of a beta release

The game which I don't own here is as is said by other reviewers some kind of beta release which can pass as ok by those interested in clay animation (I enjoy it, but not more than three stars), in this setting though, the very fact that the soundtrack is only presented as MP3 is unforgivable. Fact is that the CD format with its 16-Bits/44,1KHz is a tad too little as the human ear can in its younger years experience up to 48 KHz and so why on earth would you want to cripple it even more by introducing a lossy MP3 to the setting? This is, in my opinion, beyond any reasonable explanation. For the rest I totally agree with @Br00ce

Publishers/Developers? - Deluxe Version?

Hopefully the Publishers/Developers read this. You guys made a decision to release a 'standard' version of the game for $24.99 and a 'deluxe' version of the game for $29.99... You always put the standard version of the game on sale and it's like you keep forgetting that you have a deluxe version that also needs to be put on sale. Right now the standard version is 60% off and the deluxe version is still full price, which makes no sense as it only adds the soundtrack. Otherwise it's like I have to pay an extra 60% for the deluxe version and all I'm getting for that is the soundtrack, which I can listen to by playing the game anyway. Please remember that you have a deluxe version of the game that also needs to be put on sale whenever you put the standard version of the game on sale. I see so many Publishers/Developers do this and it's getting very annoying. There's also no indication that if I buy the standard version of the game then I will be able to buy the soundtrack later for a discounted price or something. So does that mean that if I want the soundtrack in the future than I have to pay another $29.99 to get the deluxe version just so I can get the soundtrack that's probably great, but not worth another $29.99? I would also like to point out that you have the game showing completely differently on Steam, where there is no 'Deluxe' version. However, on Steam there is a way to just purchase the soundtrack separately. I feel like I would give this game a good review as it's right up my alley but I keep waiting for the deluxe version to go on sale and you guys keep forgetting about it. If you guys have to remove this 'review' because I haven't played the game, I understand, but please consider sending this on to the Publishers/Developers so they realize that this is happening when they wonder why so many people aren't buying their game... Maybe it's because a bunch of people are waiting for the deluxe version to go on sale, and it isn't. Thank you.
