A bit grindy but decent
Alchemist quest is a pretty standard HRPG that takes many of the mechanics from other, similar, games and mashes them into one unorganized and fairly grindy story. Story: You play Alice the apprentice alchemist. You were a part of a collection of alchemists called the fellowship and studying under Liz until one day you failed a review and were kicked out. In order to get back in you need to complete one of the five fellowship assignments. There really isn't much story here and most of the assignments don't really involve alchemy. The fellowship assignments are just a way for the devs to toss in a bunch of loosely connected game mechanics and design entire quest lines and endings for them. Gameplay: Pretty standard HRPG gameplay here. You wander about collecting items, fighting monsters and completing quests. It's a bit more engaging than many of the rpgmaker titles I've played but not by a lot. It mostly involved sitting around fishing, sitting around waiting for crops to grow, wandering about collecting resources, grinding out dungeons and wandering about collecting H scenes. If you don't just hard focus a single one of those tasks/questlines it's tolerable but it does get pretty grinding and boring after a while. There are 11 endings for this game. Six of the endings are gotten from losing to boss enemies and the other five are achieved by completing the fellowship quests. They handle the multi-ending aspect pretty well by allowing you to continue after beating the game so you can pick up the rest of the endings without starting over. Art/CG/Content: H content mostly consists of corrupted morals, r*pe and voyeurism. Most of the adult content is obtained through the philosopher stone questline with the rest coming from boss losses ( bad endings ). For the most part the art is good. Mostly consists of static images with variants for fluids, penetration and climaxing. The game is alright but $12 is pretty steep. Might be worth getting on sale.
