Hello,
fixed patch that works while DLCs are installed should now be downloadable.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

sazaland: I have neither of the problems mentioned here: mine says it succeeds, but does not change the version. Checking the patcher log it seems it cannot find the files to be patched. I tried moving my Pillars of Eternity to the default /Applications location and this made no difference.

Is there any way the patch could be provided as loose files/directories? I can figure it out myself way faster than troubleshooting these binary blob scripts. It's especially infuriating since the game itself did not use an installer..
Try to use this command in the terminal:
mdimport <path_to_your_app>

PolishWonder: still says wrong version for me. kickstarter dlc perhaps?
Could you please provide log from ~/Library/Application\ Support/GOG.com/Patcher/Patcher.log either here or by PM :)

eleve: Well...I suggest that the paths as defined in the patcher/installer are screwed up:
It seems that Pillars of Eternity app was not found.
Please try mdimport <path_to_your_app> and let me know if it helps.

eleve: Correct; it was not found :)

I did the mdimport but then remembered that Spotlight must be active and the disk in question must not be entered in the privacy tab for the Spotlight stuff to work. I normally have my games disks set to private so Spotlight won't search on them.

Anyway, after fixing those 2 points, it now works.

You might want to make these requirements known prominently :)
Thank you so much for checking that :)
We will add fallback to this path: "/Applications/Pillars of Eternity.app" if mdfind fails to find app.
