A true role-playing platformer experience that will unleash your inner munchkin.

Unepic, an awesome RPG/platformer full of loot, monsters, dungeons, and lots of nerd culture-based humor showing just how fun tabletop role-playing might get, is available 50% off on GOG.com. That's only $4.99 for the first week.

Daniel was one of those guys, who will argue with everyone for a chance to re-roll their character's stats. He would secretly add "+1"s to his equipment sheet when nobody was looking. Sometimes, he would "accidentally" knock down a cup of Slurpee on the table just to rearrange the characters setting on the map. And, boy, was he good at it! Maybe he had superior stealth stats and no one ever noticed his meddling, or maybe everyone thought that arguing with "that guy" was pointless. The important thing was: Daniel rocked tabletop role-playing. At least in his own opinion. But then, one dark night, as he left the table only for a moment, he was transported into a dark and ominous castle taken straight from a Game Master's most sadistic dream. Daniel would have to muster all of his skills and tricks to handle this ordeal. But, after all, he WAS the ultimate munchkin!

Unepic is a exploration and loot-based fantasy platformer that in its core is the ultimate tribute to pen-and-paper role-playing and nerdom. The number of times the game winks at fantasy gaming fans, TV show followers, bookworms, and gamers is simply uncountable. You will explore a huge set of dangerous stages with varied environments, vast selection of monsters, and even more incredible equipment to find and utilize against your foes. The GOG.com version even comes with some exclusive items, unavailable anywhere else!

If the way of the munchkin is your preferred approach to tabletop RPGs, if you appreciate nerd-culture references, if you love loot above everything else, it's time for you to start exploring the realm of Unepic, for only $4.99 on GOG.com! The launch offer lasts until Tuesday, May 28, at 9:59AM GMT.
Good game...um...mostly
Not bad, but still waiting for Wizardry 8! :p
Looks ok but not for me,
Nice one!
woot, this is truly an amazing game!!!

(I'm so angry I wasn't capable of finishing it, so close to the end and I was just too lame...)

EDIT: man, just watching the trailer gives me shivers, such great memories...

I got up to the boss that causes you to drop your items...I just couldn't bring myself continue after that =/
Thanks GOG!!

was waiting for this one for a while.
played the demo and was hooked.

how are the 'one time/ one use codes' for the bonus weapons being done in this version?
or is everything unlockable within the game without add on purchases?

quite interested in exploring the GOG exclusive section and see what its all about.
and no WiiU would make that version of Unepic not a possibility for me.

edit:
instabought + dl now
even giving the latest GOG DL app another chance
^_^

Hey, this is not Wizardry 8...

But nice release. Wouldn't have expected this game to show up here after this thread:

Great little game, glad to see it here :)
looks fun. wishlisted.
Considering the speculations on a possible Wizardry release this week, I hope I am not the only one seeing the irony in the name of today's release. Nevertheless, it is nice to see it here, as previously you could only get it DRM-free in indie bundles.

I've read a solution online how to deal with that bastard :) and it wasn't that hard after that... but that crazy final fight, where you need to climb up and at the same time fight off all those monsters somewhere else, that was just too much for me :)
No Wizardry today ? :-(

What do you mean mostly? I've never even heard of it but it looks great and I depend on you folks for advice regarding these things.
