I still bet Pheace, FenixP and Amok wont bite :P
Looks really cool.

Is there some reliable review somewhere on net or even better have anyone played it?
I saw this some while ago and thought it looked interesting, then completely forgot about it again...

Have anyone tried it?
I still didn't grasp what "metroidvanian" means, but apparently this:

Great release! SteamWorld Dig has been on my wishlist for quite a while, but this time you were quick enough to release it on GOG before I'd buy it from the Humble Store, and the 40% discount is a nice incentive to get it here instead! :)
Played it on 3DS and enjoyed it, great music and atmosphere. Not sure how it will fare on PC, but the controls were pretty tight on hand-held. It isn't the longest game, only took me about 6 hours or so to finish, but you are rated on a number of things at the end such as loot collected and time taken, so could always go through it again and try to get better ratings.

Overall I thought it was pretty good, but I haven't picked it up since I finished it, although I will probably play through it again at some point.

Edit: Some reviews of the 3DS version:

It originated on the 3DS, and I played through it there. It doesn't do anything particularly impressive, as such, but it's extremely good at what it does do, and the dig/loot/return/sell/upgrade loop is highly addictive.

Dunno if the PC version's expanded at all, but on the 3DS version, I got through it in seven and a half hours, and I do still have an itch to go back for another playthrough.
Miniterraria?
It actually looks great. I will definitely consider, but Eschalon has my eye.
It looks an awful lot like Spelunky.
looks like more generic shovelware to me.

I must be getting either old or maybe im just a grumpy old bastard.
It certainly looks nice enough, and is probably solid fun. I think I must've just played enough puzzle-gather-upgrade-repeat platformers in my life now. But still, amazed at all the bounty GOG is releasing today!
