It's difficult to believe! Didn't expect it to be available here at GOG but now it is!

I recently wrote about how I wanted to replace my old console version of Skyrim with a drm free copy and replay it after so many years. Now I can!

Downloading from GOG right now. There doesn't appear to be a game manual, just the game installer files?

This game is 95% of the reason I tolerate Steam's existence on my hard drive. I shall henceforth refer to this as Independence Day.

Now if Fallout 4 and Civilization V ever come over, I can delete Steam entirely and repress the memory of it forever.

There doesn't seem to be a manual for the Special Edition specifically, but here is the Skyrim manual from Bethesda's site.

Bethesda had the game manual IF you sign up with them AND make a donation. I just kept searching and found a site that offered it with no questions asked, so I simply right clicked on it and chose the Save As option. I guess that's Ok?! It makes a hefty rar size even at the best compression! 4.6 MB
