tiggerlator: Why is it, i am logged in on the website with my email address, but if i try the same email address in GOG galaxy on my PC it say unknown email address. I tried setting up a account on it, with the same user name but obviously said its in use as it is mine.

So how can i use my GOG account on GOG galaxy?
Contact support. That doesn't sound normal at all...
Hi, just got Morrowind GOY and put on Galaxy. I can't start it from galaxy, and starting it from the program file, I can't get to data files. Since I like mods, and make some of my own, not being able to access datafiles is a problem. And Galaxy itself seems non functional.

Does anyone know if I can just take morrowind and move it to a different drive? I play ESO from a different drive, so should not be impossible.

Thanks

OHMYGODJCABOMB: I don't know if it's a GOG Galaxy bug, but something strange is going on with the activity feed.

When you start a game that you haven't played before, there should be a notification in the activity feed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I remember, these notifications were instant.

Now these notifications show up only after an hour of playing and have the wrong time.

Here is an example: the game was launched at 13:00, notification in activity feed appeared at 14:00 and says that this event happened two hours ago (that is, at 12:00).

Playing time tracking works correctly. The problem is only with these notifications.
I am experiencing the same problem, for me all the timestamps on my activity feed are consistently three hours behind. Weird.
Can we get a more intuitive way to downgrade to an earlier patch-level? Actually it goes: settings -> uncheck box for automatic updates.

I think it's more intuitive, when you see the earlier versions of the game grayed out below the checkbox so that you can recognise it visual. And when you uncheck the automatic update-box it gets clickable.

Edit: and maybe its possible to get more than five earlier versions of a game? : >

Got Galaxy 1.2.55 installed (not in program files, but on a non windows drive) and I can't access the store, my Library , the only thing I can load in Galaxy is the community forums. This issue seriously needs looking into. This has happened quite a few times now, I'm running windows 10 (latest version) so if it's not Galaxy playing up again, is it possibly something Microsoft has introduced in one of their updates even.

best ever survival horror game ever!!

It has been outlast, no weapons, no engery or first aid kits, just a camcoder and batteries. Pure terror rollecaster. Amazing story, cutting edge graphics.
I just put together a new Win10 PC and have been trying to get my rather sizeable GOG library installed on it, and it's been a slow, painful experience. I have no idea what's going on. Downloads constantly freezing, Galaxy crashing, etc.
Every time I try to set up some games to download in the morning then leave for work, I come home with 2 or 3 games actually installed before something happened to interrupt.

Also, the "in library" labels no longer appear in the store, until you actually go to that game's page. They won't appear on sale pages or lists now.

Started playing Alpha Centuri after finding it available on the mac. Except for occasionally not having the cursor displayed - very annoying - all ws going well and making good progress towrds ascendance. But when I tried to load my saved game tonght. I got a message that it was a password protected multilayer game. Huh? I never played multiplayer. Any idea what caused this? Someone hacked into my game?

I would like to request a feature that allows the throttling of downloads, whether in background or not, much like Steam, Blizzard, or other Game As Service clients have.

It's a bit of a pain in the unmentionables to have to schedule downloads around when other people in the house are not using the bandwidth.

Thank you.

Please take a look at the application settings. There is possibilty to throttle game downloads and updates on chosen hours.
There is also option to pause downloads while playing a game (paused by default)

I'm afraid I don't know ho to help, but you might have better luck if you posted in the Alpha Centauri subforum instead of in the GOG Galaxy thread.

im pretty sure this gets told here time and time again, but i feel like it begets telling it again

gog galaxy couldnt find a CLUF even if you threw it to his face
i try it on the program itself adn does not work, try it on the website to dowload with gog galaxy and does not work

i have to dowload it with the offline installers ot make it work

whats going on with that, why does not find the dumb CLUF thing?
just about every game i bought i had to dowload the installers myself
