Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

========================================================================================

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

TentacleMayor: I'm on an extremely slow connection where every KB/s can make a big difference as to when a download is completed. So I'm wondering what Galaxy is doing with my entire bandwidth when it should be idle (no downloads, no pages loading). When a download is running, I only get about half the speed I should.
This is more than likely an issue on your end. There are tools available to monitor your network connections that are foss and easy to use.
Sysinternal at Technet if you are using Windows has many great tools that are safe, easy and free as in beer to use.
iftop is a great utility for monitoring your network connections if you are using GNU + Linux. I am sure Macintosh and BSD have something similar. Hope that helps.

psikorski: Hi,
We have just uploaded new non-preview version (1.1.27). It is the same version that is available on preview.
The main change is related with downloading mechanism plus we added aborting and pausing tweaks.
I launched, updated, and then paused my download of Constructor as a small test of the new client and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the ability to pause downloads. I have never needed this feature before, but it is coming in handy now tha tmy life has gotten busy.
So I installed GOG Galaxy, telling it to install to E:\GogGalaxy...

I've ended up with 215mb dumped to C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy, whereas E:\GogGalaxy only has 108mb.

How does that make any sense? This kind of nonsense makes me not want to recommend GOG.

Make your program install where I chose, please, and nowhere else. Use the registry for settings. Use the install location for "redists/crashdumps/logs/temp", etc.

After The Witcher 3 installs, I'll have to uninstall Galaxy.

That irritates me also as it sucks up multi-gigabytes on my small SSD drive which is constantly near full. An ugly technical workaround until they fix it sometime in 2040 or so is to use Windows junction points to redirect the directory to another disk drive.
Hello ! =) didn't find a good answer for my problem. Since one month i simply can't launch the client Each time i try i have the error (0xc0000022).

And when i try to launch it in admln mode i have no error message but the client don't start at all.

I have try everything i could (Install it on another hard drive, delete all reference to GoG in my computer, deactivate my windows defender ... ) nothing seems to correct this problem =/

And i can't play Gwent without the client.

Moments ago I wrote a more full fledged answer to your message but the GOG website ate it and spewed "Lets Encrypt" security warnings/errors concerning the GOG SSL certificates which were rather disconcerting. At any rate my message was eaten and my heart just wasn't into re-writing it all out again. :o(

Having said that, the short answer is that your computer is quite possibly infected my a rootkit or other malware. Search Google for "0xc0000022 error" and read up on a few of the links that come up. It appears most of them suggest malware is the cause of the problem while others suggest that missing DLLs are the problem. In either case it appears it is not a problem specific to GOG Galaxy.

I tried to search through the GOG support pages also however got more of the "Lets Encrypt" SSL certificate warnings and refuse to proceed forward when my browser throws security warnings (or what's the point of having them right? :P ).

If you can't find a working solution with Google though, hit up GOG support with the contact us link at the bottom of the page as they might have a page in support that covers the issue even though it doesn't appear to be a GOG specific issue. Hopefully you wont encounter the same SSL issues I got attempting to find the info however.

Hope this helps.

Update: Found some other commentary that suggests that some people experience this problem BECAUSE of their anti-virus software. The proper solution appears to be to add GOG Galaxy as an exception to their anti-virus software so that the AV software doesn't get in the way of proper program operation, however some people who are lazy and don't want to get that deep into the issue appear to just disable their AV software to work around the issue. I suppose whatever works. :) Anyhow, it's another avenue to explore.

Thanks for your effort pal ! ^^ well i have try already to desactivate my anti virus but it didn't change everything and my computer is clean of any malware ... i have try to contact the support directly but don't know why i can't send my message _-_
Today I played (again) "Tales from the Borderlands" and I noticed that whenever I reached a Galaxy achievement (no matter if ithis was already unlocked) Galaxy switched to the Galaxy acievement screen minimizing the actual game. The only way I could prevent this was by minimizig Galaxy into tray. Don't know if th eproblem is Borderlands specific but since I did not have those problems last time I played the game I guess that one of the updates is responsible for it.
Версия клиента 1.1.27
Не засчитывается время проведённое в игре
1)Ведьмак 3: Игра года.
2)Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition.
I am trying to install GOG Galaxy 1.1.27.1 on WIndows 10 x64 to play the Gwent beta. I get the following error during install.

---------------------------
GalaxyClient.exe - Bad Image
---------------------------
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\mfc140u.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Things I have tried:
- Disabling Anti-Virus
- Reinstalling Visual C++ 2012
- Reinstalling Visual C++ 2015

It looks like this issue has been around a while with no resolution.

I wonder if it may have to do with the bitness of the VC++ redistributable. Is the system 32-bit or 64-bit? If it is 64-bit, did you install the 64-bit VC++?
Test as can't post topic...
I haven't played a GOG game with achievements in a week until yesterday. There was both a Galaxy update and an update to the game I'm playing (Tyranny) since then. I don't know if the Galaxy update or the game is at fault, but I'm not getting notifications when I unlock an achievement. I noticed last night when I quit the game that I had unlocked 3 achievements. I was getting tired toward the end of my game session, so I thought I just missed it. I was playing about an hour ago, quit to eat, and came back to continue when I noticed that there was a new achievement that I unlocked right before quitting. I definitely would have seen that.

I don't know if I should file a bug report for Galaxy because like I said, there was both a Galaxy update and an update to the game I'm playing since I last played, so I don't know which one is at fault.

Yes I have applied both 32 and 64 bit levels of the VC++ redists.
Somebody please take a look at the update mechanic when updates are disabled. This really seems to be broken again, meaning updates won't trigger the blue dot until the actual game page is clicked on.
Is this the silence before 1.2?
