Remember me, special dreams.

Ys: Memories of Celceta is coming soon DRM-free to GOG.com.
The Great Forest of Celceta still lies untamed, unchallenged. Teeming with strange creatures and well-kept secrets, it can only be conquered by an intrepid adventurer like Adol Christin. Determined to reclaim the memories that were stolen from him the first time he ventured into the unmapped wilderness, he will now return with the enigmatic thief Duren by his side.
This is the definitive edition of the ambitious action/RPG that first appeared on the PS Vita, enhanced and refined for its PC debut to make for an essential Ys experience that expands the series lore in fascinating ways.
Waiting for it.
Oh nice, the only Ys game I haven't played yet.
Vita version owner here. Amazing game and quite important lorewise. Been waiting for this port !
Can't wait to finish it again.
all old games of Ys series was dynamically linked to galaxy.dll (so it was ez to remove it without breaking anything). While Ys SEVEN have it statically linked. Wonder how it will work this time

In case of why it may be worthy info: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/what_is_gog_stance_on_telemetry/post9

But it's 6 fucking days, SIX !!!

Don't worry i can wait just fine but thanks that was good to know, i admit i got a bit worried there because it's rare i see a game so close to release get marked with TBA when it was said to release in summer a long time ago.
Thank heavens it's XSeed.
Not really surprised to see it coming here (XSEED said it would be on Steam and GOG way back when they announced Celceta on PC with that "surprise" twitch stream on their channel), but still ultra excited, this is the only Ys game (of the ones available on PC in the West, sorry, I'm not THAT much of a weeb) that I have yet to play, and since I'm a proud owner of every Ys title made available digitally on GOG, this is probably the game I've been expecting the most -- more than all the AAA crap that was announced during last E3, or the usual western-developed cRPGs or TBSes --, and I'm so glad I can have an entire Ys collection here on GOG, not missing out because of some ridiculous Steam exclusivity. Thanks, XSEED and GOG!

Also, after finishing Lacrimosa of Dana, I went back to Ys Seven and I must say the added lock-on feature is something I really missed; it made Seven feel pretty clunky and needlessly harder... lock-on has been around for ages, now, it's kind of baffling Falcom didn't think of implementing it in the earlier 3D Ys games, and, by the looks of it, Celceta doesn't have it, either, which is a shame; it feels like a blatant step backwards, in terms of gameplay, when put side to side with Ys VIII. I guess XSEED could have built some sort of rudimentary lock-on for the PC version of Memories of Celceta, but I'm no programmer, I can only assume that's not an easy thing to do. Either way, I'm sure I'll have loads of fun playing it when it releases.

(Oh, and I never thought I'd say this, considering the awful PC release of Ys VIII, but NISA ended up making an incredible job with it, it's extremely well-optimized, now, and I hope Celceta will run at least as well as Ys VIII eventually did -- and does.)

[EDIT] I'd also like to say that, as a Portuguese person, the fact I can finally play an Ys game set in its mirror world alternative Iberian peninsula, encompassing Spain and Portugal, is something that makes me really happy.

Also on the gamecard itself.
Oh, thank funk it's Xseed and not... the other company.
You know, I wish the same team that did Cold Steel did Ys. There is no reason these games should require $1000 computers to run.
I'm a bit surprised that it will have the same price as Ys Seven.
What is the order for this series?
