The Holy War is over. The demons of Gologotha have been banished, yet the cost has been terribly high. The Creator, god of the Fyllid, has been defeated and the faith of the people has begun to wane. Petty squabbles among the five remaining gods has caused the land to split into five mystical territories - each at war with one another. Into this divided land steps a wizard, a man haunted by his past, whose choices will shape the future.
Which god will he choose? Will he sacrifice himself to change this world for the better, or will what remains of this world be sacrificed for one god's glory?

This game is one of those marvelous older games that truly destroyed my social life for a time. The story and gameplay are phenominal, and I wish there were copycats or sequels. The replayability factor alone makes it more than worth the price - you choose from 5 dieties, but you can change your mind after each mission and shift your alignment.. and each time you get to a new... full review level, its a new spell given by that diety. You can be a purist, and get all of one dieties spells, or a sampler, or some combination and it changes the gameplay entirely. 100% pure liquid awesome.
Being a primarily FPS and RPG gamer I tend to shy away from strategy games, except those that can really stand out from the crowd. This is one of those games.
Anybody on this site should immediately purchase ALL of Interplay's back catalogue. They are incredible, and this is one of their finest.... full review
Great voice acting, an excellent plot, plus a dynamic campaign that gives more replayability than you'll ever want is blended with beautiful graphics and completely original gameplay. It may be something of an aquired taste, being very tough and more than a little cerebral at times, but for $5.99, even if you hate it it will be good value.
