Even if RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 hasn't aged as gracefully as its predecessors, there's plenty of fun to be had. If you still have the original and can run it fine, you don't need to buy it again. But if you're someone who never got to play it, can't run Planet Coaster, and miss the old school approach to the Tycoon genre, the Complete Edition is a neat relic to a bygone era of gaming. Just be prepared for some outdated features and a shockingly small UI.

I don't get the negative comments?

I played RCT 1 and 2, but by the time 3 game out, I had changed my game interest (Sims, Sims 2, and WoW). This one slid by me, and after playing the demo today, I immediately decided to buy the game. How did I miss the 3D version of one of my all time favorites. So far, I'm having lots of fun with it... so I don't understand the negative stars. Then, I saw the reasoning... people are rating the game for its PRICE and not its CONTENT... You folks almost made me not buy the game and for that, I say shame on you. Initially, I agreed with you all- $19.99 for an older game? What is GoG thinking?! Then, I looked around... Amazon- $19.99 for the NEW game- not used- not someone auctioning it from their own house... NEW. Walmart- $29.82!! and the best... Steam- $29.99! For everyone complaining about the price- do your homework. Search around. GoG actually has it at a reasonable price point. Review the game for what it is, not because you think it should cost less.

Atari at fault for pricing

The Rollercoaster Tycoon series is awesome. It's a series that will leave you wanting more. But Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is now on sale for $7.99, which is highway robbery for how old this game is. Do not blame GOG, entirely. Atari most likely made them price match other services that offer the game to be able to sell it. I will not buy it here, I can find a disc version of the game for $5 new. Sorry GOG, you lost my money on this one.

Sorry but no.

I never liked this game, and I was a HUGE die hard fan of the first two (plus expansions). It was buggy, and building your park is overwhelming not user friendly. Also it's system requirements at release were a major let down I had a very powerful gaming computer at the time and it still was botchy. Lastly it simply lacked the ability to just be a simply fun roller coaster game, it was like it was trying to emulated the vastly less popular sim-theme-park type games (the horridly shallow 3d ones).

Great Game, Ridicolous Price

Atari must be daydreaming. Its a great game, but not that great. Asking 20$ for this is basically saying "dont bother buying it", imo. Shame
