As part of a covert experiment, the US military deployed a probe designed to prove the existence of a parallel universe hidden from our own. Although the probe successfully entered the alternate universe and reached a planet called Adelpha, its first crucial data transmission is mysteriously cut short.

The probe's unexpected demise triggers a disastrous chain of events resulting in the creation of a black hole, one that threatens to destroy the Earth.

Unless the missing probe can somehow be found and repaired, planet Earth itself is doomed.

This is one of those games that really shows what PC gaming can be. It defies a genre description... the best I could come up with is action-adventure, which is so general it doesn't really mean anything. The makers of this game weren't burdened by thinking about what KIND of game they were making, they simply imagined a world and a story, and then made that. And it's utterly... full review

A Timeless PC Adventure Game (by prez prez)
I bought this game when it was first released because i was intrigued by the Voxel technology. A couple of hours later, I had forgotten all about the tech behind the graphics and was instead riveted by the compelling universe, clever gameplay, interesting characters, and epic story. I am getting it again now so I can forever be able to revisit this amazing world on my current and... full review

I remember reading a Swedish PC magazine that reviewed this game when it came out, now over ten years ago. It got top marks and the review was titled with "The perfect game?". They were very taken with it, and once you get into the game it's next to impossible to not see why.
