Only a few thousand humans managed to escape from the Earth before its collapse in 2150 A.D. They spent the next few years on the terra forming of the red planet, developing new technologies and building up new civilisations. Somehow each of the three fractions "Eurasian Dynasty", "United Civilised States" and "Lunar Corporation" did this independently and separately from each other - but in the year 2160 something strange happens in this new world. Will the ED, UCS and LC join forces or continue their old war against each other?

Besides the usual venues in the solar system, there are some strange looking locations: planets with moving and reflecting liquid surfaces. And beside the standard RTS - resources acquisition, base building and destruction of enemy bases, the year 2160 will have some adventure inspired tasks for the players.

Best of all "Earth.." series games! (by igor8472 igor8472)
Earth 2160 is most recent of the 'Earth' series games and very good continuation of my favourite Earth 2150. As previous game presents many customizable units, expanded research tree with different choices like "Develop Mk.3 laser or choose rockets instead". You can also bribe pirates, agents, soldiers of fortune to join your cause. This time developers added aliens to... full review

Customize Mechs, what else can I say? (by yazleb yazleb)
This game packs in a lot of value in the way of content and options.

Sometimes you need your RTSs flashy and mechanized, this will surely complement Shattered Steel in my GOG mech collection, keep the robots coming GOG.

By the way there is no Online Activation, although the graphic for the Activate button still remains in the menu.

Great game, holds up very well (by andyhavens andyhavens)
I love this game. The 3D is very well done, with atmospheric effects, smoke contrails, nice lighting... all kinds of goodies. On a decent machine, you can have many dozens of units all going at it and notice no slow down. Good tech tree and vehicle design options. Do not neglect the "+" key. This doesn't speed up the game like normal, but fast forwards to the next "important"... full review
