Even though I did not buy it on GOG originally, I am tempted to buy it again on GOG despite having played it through already.
To put it simply, this game is not "the greatest of all time," nor would I put it on my top 10 list. What it is however is top of my "Honorable Mentions List," for being a VN that while it has some terrible localization, honestly bad pacing, and for some perhaps questionable plot beats, is overall something that will stick with you for a while after you play it.
So let us delve into the positives, shall we?
-Traps! You either love them or you do not, but as a nonbinary myself, I am perfectly fine with that.
-The artwork is absolutely stunning. The characters look lovely, the environments feel alive, and it is truly a pleasant visual experience.
-The music is phenomenal. There is not much I can really say other than listen to it yourself and you are bound to agree. They knocked it out of the park on the music front.
Overall, a five star rating from me. Not because it does not have quite a number of unfortunate elements to it, but because overall it is a game that deserves the love that was clearly put into it by the makers thereof. Do yourself a favor and give this VN an honest try, the story it tells you is worth your time.
