Third time's also a desaster
I tried the first STALKER, the second and now this one. Well, it was too much to expect they'd improve anything. So this game lacks everything the other installments do. Maybe the developers should've tried to play their own game, but surely they didn't. The engine / walking feels extremely clunky, the gun fight is horrible and overall it's just a bland game with no value. Graphics are extremely dated and just add to the dull atmosphere of the game. There are beta versions of games out there that feel better than this one. I don't understand the hype and good reviews this game gets.

Reinstall necessary
Waste of money but i had to try it. Unfortunately it's tough in every aspect. Game model makes me want to destroy the PC... No clues, no hints, no nothing... Just you and the map full of EVERYTHING that kills you with 1 hit. Maybe 2 if you got lucky. Also i have to reinstall the game every time i want to launch it. Some lines in the code were duplicated, i don't know.

Primitive by modern standards.
There might have been some good ideas here. Unfortunately, muddy graphics and a poor interface-controls make this game not worth playing. I've found that lots of games that might have been good lose it due to poorly designed or overly complicated controls and interfaces.
