Rue Valley itches that Disco fever's adventure side but no rpg but it's okay! You will play as guy with flawed mind and hate the palce he request to stay.. then time loop happen and you going have find out why and fight your own mind at same time. You get light roleplay, you decide what your flaws you start as both good and bad effects. The writing and story is fun to read! Characters are great to get know and even learn one of many paths to end the time loop. I would recommed try demo and see if it's for you!
I'm just obessed with time loops. Whenever I see a movie or other media with a time loop, all I can think is "what would I do?"-
This game is this experience for me. I'm in. I'm all in.
Yep, right from the start, whatever characteristics you chose in the broken character set-up, and in dialogue choices, you begin this game and likely continue as a pathetic lying jerk. Just to let Others know; reminds me of a bad employment application or some of the worst personality tests I have ever seen: trying to weed-out the psychotics -- who surprise everyone in that they can NOT be detected until they go off their head with a gun. It is we nervous folk who are actually the SANER ones. Lol.
The game otherwise ran well, before I soon uninstalled it for how overly cynical this game seemed: If there is a middle between introvert and extravert, for example, there should also be choices on both sides of the spectrum; the game even labels 'ambiverted' as balanced. Yet You can NOT CHOOSE but the extremes to be MORE of one or the other, not a bit of both: Most people ARE a bit of both; most who are a bit OFF are also a bit of both, NOT extreme. And NOT all are liars, though all dialogues seem to think so, or that one would play it this way: NOT ALL would want to play that way; I did not! This is the only choice though, given at times, is to LIE: This very much put me off from the game until realizing later is part of the point of the game, as 'you' ARE antisocial at first...
I gave it another try, went further into it, and now am enjoying it VERY much: Too soon I reviewed it previously, but I now give it four stars, as is even funny and well-conceived, though I still feel would be more realistic if character creation were a bit better, and more than just negative answers to begin with. Again, not all who are depressed are that cynical, or liars to begin with. In this game he IS... Get past that, and it gets BETTER. :-)
