Robocop: Unfinished Business is an absolute blast to play for both newcomers and veterans alike, with Teyon creating a focused experience that sets a very frantic pace for its main story while ensuring that its visuals and audio sustain the quality of its top-notch gameplay. Robocop feels like a real tank and a force to be reckoned with in the field, while his human side gets a couple of nice touches in quiet moments, making his time in OmniTower well worth experiencing for yourself.

Unfinished Business is a great evolution of Teyon's take on RoboCop, with the more focused narrative and progression helping the story to push you through some combat encounters, whilst also adding some excellent lore to the wider world of Alex Murphy. If you enjoyed the first game, and maybe even if you didn't, then I can recommend this return to Detroit. You have more than ten seconds to comply, but resistance is futile.

Nice addition to Rogue City

I loved the first game and this one is a nice addition to it. In many ways it managed excellently to "bring more of the same". There is no need to play the first game but it comes handy to understand the game mechanics. The story is nothing super original but feels nice and entertaining. The game again has some "detective" parts but is mostly a shooter (I'd say like 70% shooter, 30% detective). The voice acting is nice, the humor works as sarcastic as it was in the first game (and in the TV movies) which makes the game entertaining. It is shorter though and the advertised 8 hours are correct. The game has some small issues that will be fixed soon I guess (e.g. the ragdolls are odd sometimes, some visual issues etc.) but there is nothing game breaking or crashing. The narration is shorter than in the first game and you are basically just thrown into the story. The first game gave more narration and detective story and also a bigger world (though you were revisiting many places). That made it more movie like whereas this is more like a shooter with some cut scenes. The side missions are not highly entertaining (most are of the "bring this" or "look for that" type) but then again this is not a real RPG game. It has some skills and upgrades (like the first game) but this is more a "nice to have". So don't expect an open world roleplaying game. So overall this game is really nice, delivering more of what I loved in the first game. After all there is a reason I've bought it immediately. It is giving a great athmosphere the (mostly same) great soundtrack and some neat backstory. The humor and the 80s feeling works well again. It is amazing for fans of the first one but if you haven't played neither of them I'd suggest you go with Rogue City first for its better storytelling.

Robocop No Longer Picks Up Guns/Ammo

Great game! I hope we can get more games out of this series. The reason I give this game 4 stars is the bugs - characters barely move their mouths when speaking, Robocop at one point cannot pickup any weapons or ammo, despite performing troubleshooting steps. Hopefully the devs & GOG can fix this.

Great sequel to Rogue City

At least as good as Rogue City, with better level design and tighter gameplay. The detective sequences are more streamlined now and not as annoying as before. I enjoyed the shooting aspect more this time around and I found fewer buggy sequences (I have yet to see a character popping in the scene as it loads). Anyway, I purchased it on day one and I did not regret it. I also noticed that the original is heavily discounted too, so you may want to give that one a try as well.

Not as good as Rogue City

I am not enjoying being forced to play other roles, as many of the activities are very dull. I just want to play RoboCop. This was a significant disappointment for me. There are a large number of bugs with objects clipping into RoboCop and the models are a lower quality in terms of their animation and lip-syncing. The voice acting seems even worse this time too with some very forced voices that are grating. It's definitely a buy if you loved the prior game, but don't set your expectations high, as the only improvement I am enjoying is the new freezing weapon. Other than that, the quality appears to be dropping, even a drop in the quality of environment design in general. Get it if you are a hardcore fan or wait for a sale if you are just somewhat keen.

Just play the first one.

The base game is far superior and the only new stuff here is the ed 209 section. Love this studio but this is a disappointing follow up to their last game. If you are thinking about buying this. Don't unless you can get it for like 10 bucks.
