How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary

Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

Once you leave the train it's constant crash to desktop. I've tried systematically toggling settings trying to find a most stable solution. There is none. Game will crash within a minute tops no matter what.
And has the quality control of one, and that means inconsistency, high difficulty and crashing to desktop.
Even in their own intro movie, which is presented as slides: one is animated, the others are not. Some are semitransparent, the others are not.
The mod expects you to be a skilled Fallout player right off at the start, being very familiar with the game mechanics and combat. Lots of enemies, few to no weapons or health pickups, so enjoy punching things I guess.
Was walking to a waypoint, there was a small field I wanted to cross which also crashed my framerate. I don't think they did any precombined meshes which are a huge pain using the modding tools, but also completely necessary to do.
This is what i've been waiting for! It's brilliant!
The crashes are sometimes annoying but i'm sure they will be ironed out, the game quicksaves enough for it not to be a huge pain.
Everything from the storyline to the way Westminster is basically spot on... it's just...
WELL DONE TEAM FOLON!
I'm certain by now I'm not the only one pointing out the near constant crashing this game suffers from, especially whenever you're wandering in or transitioning into the wider London overworld area. I've tried every single fix that the internet has suggested and it has only made the situation worse if anything (looking at Buffout 4 in particular about that last one.)
It's a shame because when this game does work it's sucking me in with it's atmosphere, even if I have serious issues with the weapon/damage balancing and the level/environment design being somewhat clownish and incompetent in terms of structure, the setting alone is compelling me to keep coming back for more.
But playing it in this state is an infuriating waste of my precious time and for that reason I cannot and do not recommend it. The current stability of this mod is inexcusably awful-I stress; INEXCUSABLY awful-and I am compelled to offer it the lowest score this site will allow, one star. Which frankly, is at least one and-a-half stars more then it deserves right now.
Team FOLON: fix your mod. It's good to see you're aware of this problem, and I'll be happy to change my review once it's fixed. but until then, I'm going back to Skyrim for my Bethesda-Game hit.
Keep falling through the boat during Lands Of Seraphim and dying in the water. I've read there's an update but I have no idea how to install it and there are no instructions anywhere. Sooo frustrating. The nexusmods for weapon debris and shorter load times fixed my crashes early on though.
