Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.
There has never been a better time to sample the capital’s delights! Fallout: London lets you explore the wonders of the city 160 years after the bombs have dropped, and 40 years before the events of Fallout 3. You can now reimagine Fallout in a London-centric universe, interacting with a brave new world of London-based locations, stories, factions, creatures, weapons, and gameplay mechanics.
The Gentry-dominated London stands on a knife-edge, and you may be the key to which way the guillotine falls. Play a new story set in London with a fresh character beginning, numerous conflicting factions to engage with and multiple story paths and endings with up to 90 hours of gameplay. Just be aware of what terrible secrets you may uncover in the shadowy gaps amidst the halls of power.
Discover new weapons, creatures, clothing, items, collectables, architecture, foliage and NPCs to complete the London setting. Interact through the world with your custom Atta-boy, with a fresh interface based on the UK’s life-saving Protect and Survive nuclear information campaign.

Unplayable + suddenly closes constantly
Why would the team release this mod in such a state? Played for 20 minutes and now nonstop crashes whenever I try to continue. Bought the gog version of fallout 4 on sale just to play this mod and well can't. On a fresh install with NOTHING ELSE. Are you kidding me? Buggier than base f4. Team FOLON should be ashamed of themselves seriously Deserves 0 stars

Cannot launch game
I can't launch the game. It comes up with an error message about my system not supporting OpenGL, which it does. Fyne.io error.

It feels like playing New Vegas again!
Keep in mind I played New Vegas on the PS3 and it also crashed on area discovery, crashed on quicksave load, and crash after walking for ten minutes. It's practically unplayable, the fact I bought a PC copy of Fallout 4 just to play this is depressing. Though I will say it has that authentic "Made in Britain" feel. Because it's not about quality or reliability, it's the fact it's British innit.

Master piece. THANK YOU TEAM FOLON!
The atmosphere and detail is spectacular. I'm having an amazing time, already have played for over 10 hours and I don't want to stop. Exceeds my expectations, thank you so much Team FOLON!! There is nothing wrong with the mod, people just mess up the downgrade usually. Please be patient, read the guides and get help on the official discord if you really cant get it working. it is worth it. I've helped install it on 7 peoples PCs and 2 Steam decks with minimal to no issues. Please read through troubleshooting guides on the official pages and chats. Here's my summary. Was able to install on my PC and Buffout 4 mod with no issues. -Manually downgrade Fallout 4 with the steam console. -turn off weapon debris and dont use the HD Texture pack -use the ini files in the __config folder from Fallout London mod Installing the Steam version on the Steam Deck has a couple set backs but easy once you know. -Mod Organizer 2 linux installer -zip fallout london data folder -set f4se launcher -manually edit your ini files, copy and paste the ones from the __config folder but then also adjust resolution
