Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary

Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

So far, absolutely worth it. Very Enjoyable experience and it's honestly criminal that the devs can't charge money for this because of Bethesda's IP restrictions. Go donate to the devs if you're able, they fully deserve it!
first off, i have played this game for almost 10 hours, so its safe to say i gave it a shot.
while you can try to overlook the massive performance issues, bugs and crashes this game has, you cant ignore the core aspects that make it very underwhelming.
they created a whole new map with many new factions and some actually interesting weapons only for the quests to be the exact same cookie cutter "go talk with person A, kill enemy X so A can point you to person B, clear out this place so B can help you out etc." quests Bethesda makes. Naturally, npcs have almost no personality or complexity, altough voice acting is a bit better at times. Also, there is one quest which plays out pretty much exactly the same as the drumlin diner one in fo4, how creative is that.
there is even less enemy variety than the base game. Most "new" enemies i've found so far are just reskins, for lore reasons there arent any super mutants, with very few exceptions.
I do really enjoy how rarer ammunition is, it really makes a difference in gameplay, at least i think so playing in very hard difficulty, but that's about all the praise i can give to fallout london.
past the 10 hour mark, i cant say if the story gets amazingly good, the characters stop being 2 dimensional and the quests start getting creative, but its just not worth sitting through more hours to find out
After the usual launch day hiccups and a little expected tweaking you expect when modding Fallout 4... it's all smooth sailing! I have had zero crashes after making the right adjustments, and downloading the right mods (buffout 4, etc)
My mind keeps being blown. The scope. The detail. I am ecstatic! WOW!!! Until you experience it... you can't even imagine.
The story and the voice acting is also impeccable. The sound designer(s) should be commended for the sound/audio in this game, and the musical score is perfect!
This may well be one of the best Fallout games. If I was Bethesda, I would take note.
This mod is top class. The level of quality that archives is at list on par with a AA games, make me wish to have money to finance this people dream game!!!!
Congratulations Team Folon, and thank you <3
Thank you too GOG, keep being awesome and helping this ambitious modders!
Long live to DRM Free!
First of all, information for everyone who has a problem with the game shutting down right after exiting the metro: there is a solution to this problem! For me, setting a constant 60 frames per second in the NVIDIA control panel and setting the graphics settings to "medium" through the Fallout4 launcher worked. Suddenly, the game stopped crashing.
Secondly, I am in complete shock at how polished "Fallout London" is; it's not just a mod, but a completely new game!
I'm not wasting any more time, I'm going back to the game!
