Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

Foreword: like many of Bethesda’s AAA releases this came with bugs. However, after numerous crashes when I first started the game and various fixes the Buffout 4 mod eliminated the issues. I understand people do not want to mess around with stuff like that but this is worth it! In fact, the Buffout 4 mod took me 2 mins to download, drag and drop into the Fallout 4 folder. I presume they will release a patch to fix the core issue.
With all that stated the voice acting is excellent, flows well and discord with NPC’s and the contextual dialog are AAA quality. Graphically, playing on max setting it looks the best of any fallout game I’ve played sans modding. Limited glitches in textures and I’ve not noticed any hiccups or FPS drops in over 10 hours and no crashed after the Buffout 4 fix. Story line very unique and a fresh perspective not only in Location but Characters. I found the Thamesfolks to be so well crafted and vibrant in personality. The diversity of new creatures, the animations and the art of fighting melee with counter attacking and blocking felt authentic. I had to learn how to defeat specific enemies as opposed to just shooting everything insight.
I could ramble on about the atmosphere, lighting, PIP boy and flash light assortments, crafting, scope of the world and music but most people probably stopped reading at this point. Don’t miss this opportunity, it is free and team Folon should be given and award for this project. This was beyond my expectations. This is Fallout 4.5 for me!
This mod has a ton of potential and I'm looking forward to playing it but I'm going to hold off until it's in a more stable state. I have had many many crashes after an hour or two. I've also gotten stuck on the train with no way to progress. Like I said some serious potential and what I did play was fun and impressive but it will be frustrating crashing every few minutes at seemingly random times.
It's nice to see projects like these make it, i just wish it was better.
It's buggy, janky, and not very engaging. The writing feels amateurish. It's community-made Bethesda Fallout, and it feels exactly like that.
Some may enjoy it, but i do not.
Fallout London so far has been an amazing game. Yes there have been a fair few crashes but they can be easily fixed with all the remedies online (such as installing buffout 4). I highly recommend this game to anyone who needs a fallout fix and people who are wanting to dive into an amazing game!
