Great game. Played it a lot throughout my childhood and it is still a good game now, even if the controls are a bit dated.

i wish that hell fire was patched for multi player and maybe a server ran wouldent take up to much to do so. i do like you guys got rid of the gold glich

Phenomenal
Clunky, old, but atmospheric and very enjoyable to play even now. Basic gameplay that expands as you find new items and magic, with quests that add story and purpose beyond killing demons. The second one is pretty good too

"Honestly, the original Diablo is still the best in the series. The atmosphere, the horror vibe, the inverted crosses, the constant feeling of demonic presence — it's unmatched. The quests were solid, the combat and spells felt raw and intense, and the whole setting — the cathedral, the village — just oozed dark, gothic perfection. Diablo II: LoD was great, and the Hellfire expansion had its charm, but nothing beats the sheer mood and immersion of the first Diablo. Everything just clicks."
