Pure nostalgia
Grew up playing this game. Love the dungeon exploring and atmosphere. Never played the expansion as a kid and its ok. Best way to play this game on modern systems.

One the best games ever
Don't play Hellfire, first off. The original is slow and visceral and reminiscent of a survival horror. Having played all the Diablo games, this one is hands-down the best, like they literally broke the mold. It's a treat, a little vacation, to play this game to completion.

Classic of all dungeon crawls.
Briilliantly achieved balance between difficulty and token rewards keeps dopamine flowing and eclipses the crude graphics. Should be remastered and expanded, but only after firing anyone who wants to keep thier job by suggesting stupid foundational changes or any form of DLC.
