Minecraft and No Man's Sky have a baby!
This game plays a lot like Minecraft but also has a lot of its own mechanics. You basically gather materials by mining etc and craft various items with them. At a certain point in the game you will repair your ship but I haven't come that far yet, I guess that's where the No Man's Sky aspect of this game will completely unfold. Unlike in Minecraft, here you have tasks you have to do in order to follow the story and make progress in the game but you have all the time in the world to complete them, no pressure here. Just explore your surroundings, build your base and find more materials, it's completely up to you!
I'd like to add: You can always save your progress and there's a really good keybinding menu, in case you need it. Also, the game has quest markers, a map and a compass (like Skyrim, etc).
This game defintely gets a recommendation from me!
