Animal Crossing Meets Stardew
Review from Steam Purchase and double purchase through GoG.
I got done with the review but I neglected to put my favorite parts about the game there so here they are. Character Creator is robust and I was able to make an obscure character from my childhood. Game runs really well on mobile pc's like the steam deck, legion go/s/2, rog/allys/allyx, ect. Learning new item recepies though destruction of broken items in the wild. Tons of recepies for food which you can sell (very minor but appreciated). Treasure hunting and the busy work to do said hunting.
To put it plainly game so nice I bought it twice. That being said there is something about this game that lets me give it a 5 star review here, there's plenty to do in terms of busywork and tasks that make you feel like your town is actually growing. You start off with a tour of the town and its 4 residents and slowly build your way into cleaning up the island and collecting/earning supplies, from there you learn recepies for your crafting journey and get a jump start on making your island livable. Pick and repair a home for yourself and 2 of the 4 residents on the island before setting out to sea to find more materials. The game features a stamina bar as well as a day and night cycle, and while there is a health bar there are no hostile entities (so far) you have to deal with other than crushing cold depths of the sea and the fun of standing in lava, with that you can just be a night owl and work through your own schedule with sleeping or eating being the way your replenish stamina. Most taks/jobs don't really feature a time limit outside of townie requests that you accumulate through the more people you find standed on islands. The characters you find are varied and its up to your personal taste wether or not you want to an island full of crabby, calm, cool, or crazy individuals. As you build your lil island you'll start to move on to the second task which is tourism, you'll start of slow but as you build your island up more tourist will bring more money to help fund more things to build/bring to the island. I haven't gotten to late game yet but so far the game has me hooked.
