Nice story, original in fact, although with some plot holes. This one is more balanced than Asdivine Cross. The mechanics are similar to the other previous installment.
That said, compared to Cross, the mechanics are somewhat worst, some being basically useless. The UI has a lot of little bothersome quirks, nothing to really impaired the play but irritating.
Then endings, if you want to see them all, need some strategy (get a walkthrough !) and several reload.
There is no NewGame+ but the endgame content is very good and can be view as a sequel/complement of the game. For that, after the first last battle, save then reload. Redo the last battle and this time you have a choice to make. Choose the default "There must be another way" and the game will continue for some more content and a new ending.
It's a long enough game, and quite enjoyable.
Still recommended.
